Again you have great work done here Great lighting, perspective and I specially like how you fade the detail of the "painting" along the tail giving it that bit more depth. I'm wondering: Adobe Photoshop or Corel Painter, mouse or pen tablet?
Yet I still have my misgivings, which I hope won't bother you too much First of all: be all, end all of the paleoart references on the internet (at least dinosaurs) so you can update your own, if you didn't know about the sites yet.
Onto the specifics: the head and neck, if you discount the crests (which could be less exaggerated), look more tyrannosaurian than anything else. Allosaurus has a more slender, somewhat higher skull. Two things you shouldn't have omitted: the back of the skull, which still occupies a bit of space, and the bulge of the jaw-opening muscles. That for one tells me you're using outdated references. The neck should be slenderer and a tad longer.
Other than that you're good to go
My, you're a stickler! Thanks for the link. I've been looking for those sorts of diagrams, which I've found a bit difficult to find for many species elsewhere. It's all good! Definitely good to hear objective criticism on anatomical issues, because if the portfolio leads to any sort of actual work, those are exactly the sorts of criticisms I'd need to work with. It's not always easy in daily life to come by individuals who can speak to these issues, because it's usually more "art" types who will crit me on colour, composition and line, but don't know what these things are really supposed to look like. So thanks!

Well, I myself think your Anatotitan is good enough for The Dinosauricon (pertinent webmaster's oppinion may differ). That is the best place to show off a paleoart portfolio, so be sure to apply
If you want that type of anatomy-oriented critique just register at The Gondolend Forums, discount the rampant weirdness there, and you'll get critiques far better than mine.
In fact, in the press to wrap things up to go to class I forgot two things: the back of the jaw should only be two thirds as thick and the way the animal is posed in midstride it's soon to fall on its face The knee should be just at the middle of the ribcage heightwise or slightly lower.
And that's about it from me. Keep up the great work

Real songs are about deals with the devil, far off lands, and where you'd find smoke in relation to water.
