Artist's Comments

This would be a scene from the book 'Frankenstein' by Mary Shelley. This takes place after the monster murders a young boy and escapes to the mountains where he is followed by Doctor Frankenstein and a good time is had by all (read the book).

I'm happy with the way this one came out.

Wow, brilliant mood and lighting, very good composition.

Very nice! Can hardly tell it's digital, the technique just looks very traditional.
Also like how Frankenstein looks "monstorous" in proportions but not like a monster.

I actually haven't read Frakenstein (for shame, I know), but I love this image. It's so professional looking, with a real painterly quality to it. I'm adding it to my favs!

It's a shame that this doesn't have more views or comments yet.

I love how you illustrated the "creature" And the composition between Frankstien who looks so very very small compared to his creation. Not only is this a great piece of art, but also a chilling statement on Shelley's novel of how Frankstein's creations would later have such a domianting impact and control over his master. Digtial? wow this looks just like a painting.
