The Throttler by ~tavari clearly shows the artist's detailed knowledge of anatomy visible in the perfect blending between human and animal form. What's more, the posture of the other figure, though unnatural, is incredibly realistic and compelling. Through this body language and the facial expressions, the artist manages to achieve a wonderful dynamic effect as well as create a mysterious and brutal atmosphere. Seems like it would be tough to strangle someone with paws . Perhaps grabbing them by the throat with your mouth would work better . Maybe that's what the Greeks were thinking ? Regardless this is an excellent picture full of action and powerful emotions .

Hmm 'female artists'. Sounds more like feminists/anti male.

Keep telling yourself that.
There's a very real difference between an idealists view of the word 'feminist' (one which anyone with an open/intelligent mind would support) and actual feminists (which are ugly, petty gender-biased creatures).

almost a twisted variation of the sphynx!

great!
at last a sphinx who raises fear in those who behold her.
And you obtained this by making her body bigger and looking like an angel: the angel of death!
